Disabled Student Services

Disabled Student Services can provide variety of services to enable students with disabilities to function independently in an educational environment. The objectives of Disabled Student Services are to integrate and maintain students with disabilities into general campus programs and activities. Students with either permanent or temporary disabilities are eligible with verification of a disability.

Decisions regarding the exact accommodation to be provided are made on an individual basis. Examples of services include disability counseling and advocacy; testing accommodations; readers/writers/note takers; training and use of adaptive equipment; special classes; test proctoring; alternative media; and liaison services.
